Drummer/Bandleader, Don Sweeney drums on the vintage drum set originally owned and played on by Buddy Rich. Buddy Rich passed the set on to his good friend, Johnny Carson. When Johnny Carson heard that Don had all of his drums stollen, he gave the set to him. From that time on (1981) Don brought the drum set to the Tonight Show for Buddy Rich to use whenever Buddy appeared on the show.
